Pre-Approved Coursework

Our goal is to provide you with an up-to-date list of pre-approved courses from your institution that will help you meet the prerequisite requirements for SCCO. Although we conduct annual reviews of different course catalogs, because undergrad course catalogs change constantly, it is not guaranteed that this information is up-to-date in accordance with what is currently published on your current institution's website.

If there are any concerns about whether a course will meet the requirements, you may have it reviewed by the Office of Admissions by directing questions about the acceptability of a prerequisite course to ODadmissions@ketchum.edu. When reaching out to our team, please email us the following information: which SCCO prerequisite course you are seeking to fulfill, the school where the course is offered, how many units (specify semester or quarter) the course is, and a link to the course description from your institution's online catalog.

Students may apply with prerequisite coursework in progress; however, all prerequisite requirements must be completed by the beginning of August leading into your fall enrollment with MBKU. To be acceptable, prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of "C-" or better.

Advanced Placement (AP) credits for the prerequisites will be accepted as long as the appropriate number of credit hours is awarded. If your previous institution did not accept your AP coursework, we will consider accepting AP coursework on a case-by-case basis if the AP test score earned was a 4 or better.
